About Baker Hot Springs
A geologically fascinating collection of scalding hot pools and cooled soaking tubs at the base of ancient volcanic cinder cones in Utah's west desert near Delta. The 180°F source water is dangerously hot at the vents but flows into user-built tubs where it cools to soakable temperatures. The surreal landscape of black cinder cones, desert scrub, and steaming pools feels like another planet entirely.

"Pretty awesome place. Difficult to locate if asking Google to take you there, best to ask local people in the area. I drove round in circles looking for the springs, but great when I got there."
