A secluded natural pool where Deer Creek meets the McKenzie River, accessible via a short but steep scramble down a forested hillside. Hot water percolates up through the rocky creek bed and mixes with cool creek water in a volunteer-maintained rock pool. Less visited than nearby Terwilliger or Belknap, Deer Creek rewards the adventurous with a peaceful, intimate soak in old-growth forest.
